WIAW: Cheerios

Ever have one of those weeks where the days feel super short? Well that’s how this week has been. I’ve been going into work early to make up for leaving early a few days this week and boy does it make for a super fast day. I think I may be on to something here! Anyway, I’m sure like me, many of you have had just the opposite and have had weeks where your days feel sooo long. You wake up, go to work/school and when you feel like 5 hours should have past, you realize it’s only 9:30 a.m. That’s the worst. Well, here’s a factoid that will make you darn glad you only have 24 hours in your day.

A day on Venus is 243 Earth days.

Can you imagine?! That’s around 66% of a year! So next time you feel like the day is slothing on just be glad you’re not on Venus…because you’d also be on fire.

On to WIAW:


Breakfast was a PBFingersoriginal. I kept reading about her love of egg, cheese and jelly sandwiches, and I quickly discovered why. These bad boys are ADDICTIVE!




I’ve been trying to get away from artificial sweeteners, so I have replaced my usual Splenda with Stevia and I’ve tried to start eating plain Greek yogurt with berries. I took frozen mixed berries and tossed them with some Greek yogurt. I usually do this the night before work so they are nice and thawed by the time I dig in. I also had a cup of green tea with this tasty snack.



Tossed some wheat pasta with broccoli, mushrooms, squash and plenty of marinara with parmesan cheese!







I actually took my first stab at fish tacos and they turned out pretty well. Recipe to come!




This Blue Bunny Caramel Praline Crunch frozen yogurt is TOO good. I can’t keep my spoon out of it! Don’t let that tiny portion fool you; I’d already dipped straight into the container.
